Σοκ στο Λούβρο: Η Ληστεία που Σάρωσε τον Κόσμο

Μια απίστευτη είδηση έχει προκαλέσει αίσθηση παγκοσμίως τις τελευταίες ώρες, καθώς σημειώθηκε μια ληστεία στο Μουσείο του Λούβρου το πρωί της Κυριακής (19/10). Οι δράστες κατάφεραν να αποσπάσουν οκτώ ανεκτίμητα αντικείμενα,ενώ οι αρχές δεν μπόρεσαν να τους σταματήσουν.

Η Διάρρηξη σε Χρόνο Ρεκόρ

Το γαλλικό υπουργείο Πολιτισμού δημοσιοποίησε τη λίστα με τα κλοπιμαία που έκλεψαν οι δράστες μέσα σε μόλις επτά λεπτά. Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες από το Sky News, τα αντικείμενα περιλαμβάνουν:

• Την τιάρα από τη συλλογή κοσμημάτων της βασίλισσας Μαρίας Αμαλίας και της βασίλισσας Ορτάνς.
• Ένα κολιέ με ζαφείρια από την ίδια συλλογή.
• Ένα σκουλαρίκι από την κομψή σειρά ζαφείριων Κεϋλάνης των δύο βασιλισσών.
• Ένα σμαραγδένιο κολιέ της αυτοκράτειρας Μαρίας Λουίζας, διακοσμημένο με 32 σμαράγδια και 1.138 διαμάντια.
• Σκουλαρίκια με σμαράγδια επίσης από τη συλλογή της Μαρίας Λουίζας.
• Μια καρφίτσα γνωστή ως καρφίτσα-λειψανοθήκη.
• The tiara of Empress Eugenie.
• A bow brooch belonging to Empress Eugenie wiht 2,634 diamonds that was purchased by the louvre for €6.72 million in 2008 from a private collection in the USA.

Pληροφορίες για την Επίθεση

Όπως δήλωσε η εισαγγελέας Λορ Μπεκό σε συνέντευξή της στο BFMTV, οι ληστές απείλησαν τους φύλακες του μουσείου κατά τη διάρκεια της επίθεσης. Αντίθετα με όσα είχαν κυκλοφορήσει νωρίτερα, η ανυψωτική πλατφόρμα που χρησιμοποίησαν δεν ήταν εκεί λόγω έργων αλλά μεταφέρθηκε από τους ίδιους τους δράστες. Παράλληλα,αν και ο συναγερμός λειτουργούσε κανονικά,δεν είναι βέβαιο ότι το σήμα έφτασε στην ασφάλεια εγκαίρως. Η ληστεία ολοκληρώθηκε σε ελάχιστο χρόνο και όπως ανέφερε η εισαγγελέας: «Διαθέτουμε βίντεο ασφαλείας που δείχνει προγραμματισμένη επιχείρηση υψηλής οργάνωσης». Υπογράμμισε ότι πρόκειται για οργανωμένο έγκλημα πιθανώς επαγγελματιών κακοποιών χωρίς ωστόσο να αποκλείεται ξένη εμπλοκή.

Aσύλληπτοι Δράστες

The four perpetrators remain at large as investigations continue to track them down. The prosecutor described them as “commandos”.

The French President Emmanuel Macron pledged that those responsible would be brought to justice and emphasized the need for enhanced security measures at the museum where these priceless items will eventually return. In his message on X platform he condemned the theft as “a blow to our cultural heritage which we cherish because it is our history”.He stated: “We will recover the works and bring those responsible to justice.”

Tactics of Deception

The two main perpetrators were reportedly dressed in yellow vests impersonating workers while two others rode scooters nearby. Using an elevator truck they accessed the first floor without raising suspicion during ongoing renovations along the Seine riverbank.
A video surfaced showing one of them breaking into a glass display case in the renowned Apollo Room where valuable jewels and imperial artifacts are housed.

The Aftermath of Their Escape

the thieves escaped using scooters after descending with their lift truck; shortly thereafter authorities discovered discarded items including gloves and a damaged piece of jewelry believed to belong to Empress Eugenie’s crown which consists of over 1,300 diamonds and emeralds according to descriptions on the Louvre’s website.
The famous diamond known as “Régent,” weighing 140 carats and considered cursed due it’s unfortunate history with previous owners was not stolen during this incident.

the Minister of Interior Laurent Nunez commented on how well-organized this operation was executed within just seven minutes from start to finish prompting immediate closure of museum operations upon detection while Culture Minister Rachida Dati arrived promptly stating via social media:

“A robbery occurred this morning at opening time at Musée du Louvre; no injuries reported; I am present alongside museum staff & police conducting investigations.”
